Take a look here: http://home.tiscali.nl/annejan/swf/timeline.swf
This is a neat clock. Makes you want to watch it for a whole minute - or hour, or day - to see it change. It really puts time in an interesting perspective, I think.
This is one of those spur-of-the-moment, fun but educational tools that I still love to find. Don't you love the freedom that homeschooling gives, just to be able to stop and study and learn from something that you happen to run across, but it wasn't in the lesson plan? I certainly did when my children were home. Of course you don't have to be a homeschooler to enjoy opportunities like that, but it helps.
Hope you and your family enjoy the clock - and your time together!
P.S. Now this song is running through my mind - by Jim Croce, it goes like this:
If I could save time in a bottle,
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day
'Till eternity passes away,
Just to spend them with you.
If I could make days last forever,
If words could make wishes come true,
I'd save every day like a treasure and then,
Again, I would spend them with you.
